Dajin Village is located in the northwestern part of Wuxuan County, Laibin City, covering six surrounding natural villages with a resident population of approximately 300 people. The villagers' domestic water supply comes from an artificial well.

The well water is classified as surface groundwater. During rainy seasons, rainwater seeps into the well through small channels or underground fissures, causing the water level to rise. Consequently, the well water becomes quite turbid during rainy periods, containing numerous bacteria mixed within. For safety, any water intended for drinking must be disinfected before consumption.
