This project is located in Silian Village, Long'an County. The daily water consumption of residents in Silian Village and the surrounding areas is approximately 300 tons, with the main water source being a river flowing through the region. During the flood season, the turbidity of the river water is very high, reaching over 20 degrees, and sometimes even higher. The water contains a large amount of sediment. Before the installation of water purification equipment, the river water was directly supplied to local residents through water towers and pipelines, which was harmful to the health of the villagers.

Due to the high sediment content in the river water, we specially designed a treatment process for this project.

First, to prevent river water containing large amounts of sediment from directly entering the mechanical filtration equipment, bag filters are used as the front-end pretreatment.

Second, after the river water passes through the bag filters, large particulate matter in the water will be retained in the bag filters, allowing only fine particles to enter the mechanical filtration equipment. This prevents unnecessary clogging of the mechanical filtration equipment and extends the service life of the filter media.

Third, the project site is located in a mountainous area, and the equipment will be unattended after installation. Therefore, we have adopted intelligent multi-port valves, equipping the mechanical filtration equipment with these valves. This enables the system to automatically perform backwashing and forward flushing of the mechanical filter tanks in the water purification equipment without human intervention, as well as automatic start-up and shutdown protection.

Fourth, the river water contains a large number of bacteria and viruses. After being treated by the water purification equipment, we use a chlorine dioxide doser to disinfect the water source, making the water safer and more reliable.
