Located in the heart of central Guangxi, Qianjiang Town sits in the southwestern part of Xingbin District, Laibin City. It serves as the economic, cultural, and commercial center of the southwestern area of Xingbin District, enjoying unique geographical advantages. The town covers a total area of 463.8 square kilometers and boasts convenient water and land transportation. The Hongshui River and Qingshui River flow through the town, with water routes reaching upstream to Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan provinces.

The water source for Qianjiang Waterworks comes from the Hongshui River, one of the few remaining rivers in China with relatively minor pollution. Except for certain sections downstream affected by pollution from Heshan Coal Mine, it is a river with comparatively light pollution. The river water is primarily calcium bicarbonate water and calcium-magnesium bicarbonate water. The pH value of both the Hongshui River and Qianjiang River is generally above 7.5. However, during flood seasons, the Hongshui River becomes quite turbid, with sand, gravel, and suspended solids in the water several times higher than normal. This necessitates the addition of flocculant (alum) to destabilize the suspended particles in the water, causing colloidal particles to coagulate and aggregate into larger flocs. Once these flocs grow to a certain size, they settle out of the water, thereby removing a large quantity of suspended solids.

After replacing their system with our flocculant dosing system, the suspended solids content in the water at Qianjiang Waterworks has been reduced several times compared to before, significantly improving the quality of the treated water.
