Dajin Village, Wuxuan County, Laibin City, is located in the northwestern part of Wuxuan County. Dajin Village covers approximately 300 residents from six nearby natural villages (tuns). The villagers' daily tap water supply comes from manual wells.

Well water is a type of shallow groundwater. Therefore, during the rainy season, rainwater seeps into the well through small pipelines or underground channels, causing the water level to rise. As a result, the well water becomes very turbid on rainy days. During this time, the turbid water contains many bacteria, which can easily cause illness.
