Industrial Pure Water EDI Ultrapure Water Equipment
There are numerous industries that use pure water equipment in industrial applications, such as: boiler feed water, cooling tower make-up water, electroplating plants, electronics and battery manufacturing, metallurgy, chemical production, cement plants, coal-fired power plants, nuclear power plants, and the textile dyeing industry, among others. Depending on the specific production process, the quality requirements for process water vary. However, in general, the process water used in industry is mostly softened water, pure water, or even ultrapure water.

Product Description
Softened Water: In industry, water softening is typically achieved using the reverse osmosis process, which turns raw water into purified water. This is mostly used for enterprise circulating cooling water to prevent pipe scaling that could affect the normal operation of the cooling system, as shown in the diagram:

In industrial settings, the material requirements for pure water equipment are not particularly high, but they must not compromise the normal and stable operation of the system. Piping can be made of PVC, provided it meets pressure and hygiene standards.
Of course, many industries use ultrapure water as process water in their production. The common process for producing ultrapure water involves a two-stage reverse osmosis system combined with EDI modules (as shown in the diagram). The resistivity of the produced water can reach over 16 MΩ·cm. The water volume and quality can be adjusted according to the specific requirements of the application.

When an enterprise has an exceptionally large demand for water, a single EDI stack cannot meet production requirements. In such cases, multiple stacks need to be combined to achieve the required water capacity (as shown in the diagram).

Whether it’s reverse osmosis pure water systems or two-stage reverse osmosis + EDI ultrapure water equipment, the system can be configured for fully automatic operation without the need for manual supervision.
