Pure water equipment for the food industry

The taste of a food product determines its success or failure and shapes the future of the enterprise. Therefore, most food processing companies—such as beverage factories, juice manufacturers, bakery and pastry producers, dairy product enterprises, and distilleries—have strict requirements for process water. This is especially true for liquor production enterprises.

Product Description

Most food processing companies use municipal water or self-drilled deep well water as their water source, which must be treated to meet the requirements of industrial production. For example, liquor production companies, such as Guangxi Nandan Danquan Liquor Industry, use natural mountain spring water to improve the taste of their products. This spring water is used as the process water for food production. It is first sourced from natural springs, then treated, and finally used in brewing and blending as production process water. The resulting liquor is rich in minerals and has a better taste.

Typically, the water purification system used by food processing companies employs reverse osmosis technology to produce pure water (as shown in the diagram):

The water produced through the reverse osmosis process is disinfected and stored in a sterile water tank. It is then delivered to the enterprise's water usage points via a water supply pump and distribution pipeline.

The water treatment system operates fully automatically, producing and supplying water without the need for manual supervision. The size of the system depends on the hourly water demand or the average daily water consumption. The sterile water tank should not be too small to avoid frequent starts and stops of the system, which could damage the motor and affect the lifespan of electrical components. The accompanying pipelines should be made of sanitary-grade SUS304 stainless steel to minimize the risk of secondary water contamination. Disinfection equipment used in the system should be selected to avoid secondary pollution of the water quality. Therefore, ultraviolet (UV) disinfection or ozone generator disinfection is recommended.
